Eugen Cicero. s name is not unknown in the world of jazz; he appeared in 1965 with his various, improvising play of piano. He mixes the elements of classical, folk and modern music successfully. That is the atmosphere which dominates this record as well, on which known Balkan folk melodies are performed in virtuose style.

Tamás Szabó became known as the famous musician of Palermo Boogie Gang. After the group had put an end to its life, he-like many others - tried himself as a soloist. The record, which appeared under the title of . Taylor. s clothes. as the publication of Rock in. Box, shows the diverse talent of the performer. It seems if he changed his musical styles as often as he changes his clothes, performing either as musician or as vocalist. The various material will certainly offer pleasant time to spend to the demanding audience.

Rock in. Box- as its customers may know- gives opportunities to performers to introduce themselves who hadn. t had such possibilities at all so far. Originally, it was three fellows who started playing in a garage, it was only later that a fourth member joined the band. Now they sing and play of the everydays in Hungarian together. They represent the rockabilly style, nevertheless, it's a bit different than usual- like a wild sprout on a plant which grows from the same twig, still it looks different, goes its own way, so it's something else.

As at the end of the '50s, the rock & roll fever seemed to have just calmed down, twist and similar ones have just began to revive, a completely new and unusual music style has begun to spread. It is due to Beatles, who created the so-called beat-music. So they were the pioneers of the later beat-wave. A generation followed them in behaviour, fashion, and - above all- in music. That was a universal phenomenon at that time. Even if to a lesser degree, it touched also the young of the socialist countries[...]
